On December 10, 2022, under the guidance of the Hainan Provincial Health Commission and China Maternal and Child Health Association, the “Sub-Forum of the 8th South China Sea Global Summit on Maternal and Children’s Health– 2022 Development Forum of Digital Therapy for Women and Children” hosted by Hainan Tourism Investment & Development Co., Ltd. and Hainan Grand Health Tourism Group Ltd.  was held in Haikou.

Government leaders, experts, scholars and industry leaders were invited to discuss at the forum, aiming to build a platform for cooperation and exchange of digital therapy in the field of maternal and children’s health; construct scenarios for the use of digital therapy; promote the communication between medical institutions and digital therapy companies; step up the agglomeration and development of digital therapy companies in Hainan; and accelerate the promotion and application of digital therapy products.

The development of digital therapy in the field of maternal and children’s health at this forum is of great significance. He pointed out that digital therapy, unlike general Internet medicine, can directly intervene in health, improve the accessibility and quality of medical services, and reduce costs. It can better safeguard the health of women and children, and promote the maternal and children’s health work in Hainan.
