on the Recognition of the Fifty-Ninth Batch of Institutions with the Capability of Novel Coronavirus Nucleic Acid Testing in Hainan Province

To the health commissions of all cities, counties, and autonomous counties; affiliated hospitals of Hainan Medical University; all medical institutions directly under the commission; medical institutions of all military forces and armed police stationed in Hainan; and all socially-run medical institutions:

In accordance with the requirements of the National Health Commission Office's Notification on Requirements for Medical Institutions to Carry out Novel Coronavirus Nucleic Acid Testing (No. 53 [2020] of the General Office of the National Health Commission), combined with the opinions of the Provincial Pathogenic Microorganism Laboratory Biosafety Expert Committee, it has been determined that the mobile cabin PCR laboratory of the Fifth People's Hospital of Hainan Province (Code: HDYY17DG0004) is the fifty-ninth batch of institutions in our province that have the capability of novel coronavirus nucleic acid testing.

The mobile cabin PCR laboratory of the Fifth People's Hospital of Hainan Province (Code: HDYY17DG0004) is requested to strengthen laboratory biosafety work, strictly implement the requirements specified in Requirements for Novel Coronavirus Nucleic Acid Testing, Guidelines for Biosafety in Laboratories of Novel Coronavirus, and the Protocol on Prevention and Control of Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia, carry out specimen collection and testing, report the testing results, and ensure the safety of related personnel. At the same time, they should actively seek and comply with technical guidance from local institutions for disease prevention and control, and strictly carry out related work in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases and other regulations.
